The NFC antenna area of the phone and the NFC antenna area built into the phone case couple to generate energy.
The phone case's power supply circuit stores and stabilizes the energy generated by NFC before stepping down the voltage to power the e-ink screen. The main controller uses the energy generated by NFC to transmit image data to the e-ink screen.
After receiving the image data, the e-ink screen starts to execute the screen refresh instruction.
After the screen is refreshed, the power supply circuit is automatically disconnected and no longer consumes the phone's power.
E-Ink displays consume zero power when displaying static content and consume only a small amount of power when refreshing content. Once the refresh is complete, power is turned off, allowing the display to remain displayed even when the phone is away.
You can still use your phone to swipe your card when riding buses and subways, and Apple Pay can also be used for payment.
We've overcome structural challenges and achieved the first integrated, complete back panel in the e-ink phone case industry, consistent with the iPhone's design language.
